I like the line work. Perhaps go for a more complete range of values in your shading. Right now they all look very light. I would either go with the style in the one with the wings, where its mostly black and white, maybe something like this: http://www.comic.de/quiz/quiz2001/Bild4.jpg or if you are going to shade them maybe copy a few drawings by anime masters.

Good luck :)

thank you so much^_^
Well the one with the wings wasnt finished..I was going to get someone to colour it for me.=)
About shading,I dont have any CG programs so Im only using water colours..It's kind of hard to get that look to it..they all turn out pretty light..=(
Im getting my own computer in a couple of weeks so I'll try CGing my works then:bounce:

smfjersey 's right ...
I agree ... you're doing very well for only 14. Just keep drawing, all the time! My suggestion though is to try more environments for your characters. I do the same thing ... draw the character, but usually forget about the environment. Wish, I did more backgrounds at your age. It would have helped me now.
Also, experiment with different genres. Anime is fine, but who knows if it will still be popular when you hit the job market? Would be a pity to have a portfolio full of that and no employer is interested in it anymore.

Nah... who cares about a portfolio or a job at the age of 14 (Kirt, those where the days my friend...).
Draw as much as you can and... Have fun!!!! That's most important ;)
But I have to agree that there is more in the world than anime characters only (wich you're quite good at). Even if you want to keep drawing manga, keeping your eyes open for other comic styles, fine art and even movies, will only improve that.

WOW! 14! You're way ahead of where I was at 14. You've got an excellent grasp of that style. Just do what you enjoy doing, you'll change when you feel like it. At eighteen I suddenly got in me that Sci-Fi, fantasy art, anime, comics the whole shabang was nothing in the face of old masters painting. So I dropped it all like a hot potato and I regret it now. A lot of catching up to do. Do it all or just do anime. You've got the characters down, now try incorporating them into scenes.
