I am working on an animation based on the poster I did for an internal "commercial". I need to jazz it up a bit more and i would love to hear your input.

Here are the instructions on how to upload the file

You've got a file called "comercialwmv.wmv.wmv" (10358 KB) waiting for download.

You can click on the following link to retrieve your file. The link
will expire in 7 days and will be available for a limited number of
downloads.

The "Hispanic Countries" text overlap with the bkgrd bugs me a bit...as does the "To" at the top of the poster. I recommend just playing with a bunch of format options and arrangements, and seeing which you like best.

Cheers,

Hi Robert,

This is John (novajohnb on here) from the Siggraph group. We met at the last meeting briefly and talked about the (now dead) Sketchwalk thread. I would like to offer some thoughts on your animation.

The fly-in intro close-up on Spain is good. maybe pull back on just the map at first to show the "from Spain to North America" theme a bit more before introducing the ship image into the scene.

The wake behind the ship has a South Park/Monty Python style feel to it. Maybe something with little more flow and little less chunkiness (like the banners on top of the ship) would give it more of a feeling of the ship in motion.

Just a couple of suggestions.
