Hey everyone!!

Hope your all doing well! back from a short period of having no internet, so I'm back on track yay! :)

I am based in Scotland and working on a new project based on George Lucas' Star Wars saga http://www.conceptart.org/forums/images/ca_smilies/normal/anj_smiley.gif

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v393/jonathanmc/LOGO.jpg

The film is set 500 years after the purge of the jedi, after a long and grueling war, a decendant of the Skywalker family, goes in search for the last known Dark Jedi to end the tyranny they have spread across the galaxy. However, a Jedi shall not take revenge

:)

The film is going to be the biggest and most exciting lightsaber duel we've seen to date since the incredible climactic battle between Obi Wan Kenobi and 'Darth Vader' Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith.

We are looking for concept artists who would be happy to work on the project and help build up their folio for future use.

Recently Thomas E. Pringle let use use three of his fantastic works as a basis for the conceptual design of the environment:

We are looking for talented artists who can expand on these images based on the script which will be shown on the website for millions to see.

I shall also be contacting a friend of mines at EA Games, my former employers, and submit folios and CVs directly as a thank you for your help on the project due to this being a non-profit project.

We would really appreciate the help, it would really give us a boost forward and help get this project up and running.

Thank you very much, please post hear, PM me or throw me an e-mail at jmcenroe@softlightstudios.co.uk

Hey everyone!

Thought I'd post an update on the progress of the film so far.

We've recently taken on board two conceptual artists from conceptart.org forums and still looking for another one or two people who might be intereted in joining the group to help out on the film http://www.conceptart.org/forums/images/ca_smilies/normal/anj_smiley.gif

Recently I've been working on a more revised draft of the script adding more to it and giving it a little more character http://www.conceptart.org/forums/images/ca_smilies/normal/anj_enthusiast.gif It is shaping up nicely and I am really excited to start going with this draft http://www.conceptart.org/forums/images/ca_smilies/normal/anj_smiley.gif

If anyone else would like a place on the film with the opportunity for you to have your CV and folio submitted to EA Games after pre-production, then send us an e-mail at:

jmcenroe@softlightstudios.co.uk

"Revenge of the Jedi" ???

You do know that "Return of the Jedi" was originally named "Revenge of the Jedi" right? A watchful fan brought Lucas' attention to the paradoxical nature of that very title. The fan explained that taking revenge is against the moral code of the Jedi. Hence the title was changed to "Return of the Jedi".

EDIT: Reading your original post more carefully, it seems that you are, in fact, aware of this. The word "Dark Jedi" tells me that it is fully intentional. Good luck with it.
