hi i whant to know how does normal map word to create a texture for a game model

i know there is a button on zbrush to make normal maps (the same way for a displaysment)
but do i have to model something with high polys and then create a game model and use the same uv cordinates?

how do i do it?

Your base mesh should be the game version (Low Poly) with all its UV's set. You then divide and create all your High poly detail on top of that. Then go back to your original Low poly division and create your Normal map and thats it.
