Hi all!
I would also have advice and comment from render guys for the short i've post in this thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=278871) .
Take a look please.... This is a maya 5 and shake work. Think it worth the download....
Thanks in advance.

Well, just a little post to warn that i've post a divx version of the short in a twice bigger format. I've used SSS + AO + FG for this short movie, so let me know what you think of that in a rendering point of view, thanks.

Maybe wrong section? Most people here like clear questions to give clear answers. And some people dont like crosspostings..

How far did the fg participation go in your short? Many people have problems using it in animation.

Keep it up! ;)

While looking the pic, I think that the ground is way too blown out! I know you may intended it this way but still I think it is a bit too much. Takes away from the scene its excitement & details.

Hi Floze...
Sorry for that but it's the only way to have more render centric comment....

The fg was in every shot... and it was done on maya 5 so really slow and difficult to keep it stable enough in animation. For the stability, the only way was to do a "freeze" by locking the fg file. Don't have to do that now on newest maya version. And to keep render fast enough, no secret, multi layer and compositing (so multi file before M7).
thanks Floze.

Hi Splin
Like you say, it's the way i want it to be. This blown out is design to come down slowly all over the short because it reflect the character mind. The pic above is from the very begining of the short, that's why it's so intensive.
Anyway, thanks for the comment.
