This is Robie the Robotic Banker, the one that Radio Shack used to sell. I just modeled this is Maya 4.0 Unlimited, for my computer animation class. Nothing really spiffy or impressive, but I thought I'd post it and see what everyone thought.

Thanks everyone. I posted the turntable animation under the image still, so now you can see Robie in some better views. I'll post some different close-ups as soon as I can...

Thanks, Hysteria. The only thing that really disappointed me was that I could not get the bumpmap on the tops of the feet to work correctly. I'm not exactly sure what it was that I did wrong, but despite my efforts it just wouldn't work...

HOLY CRAP! I had completely forgotten about those things... I remember thinking that little guy had the coolest job, just eating spare change all day long. It was always depressing for me when I had to pump his stomach and spend his "food" though.
