I stumbled upon this groovy mel command the other day, but it seems to be really buggy after a while. If I follow the docs and use their example it works perfectly. But as soon as I change the script, or if I add a new button or just generally try things out, it just stops working. The button flashes yellow like it should, but the script doesn't execute.
I even had the problem that the button wouldn't move if I was looking at a shaded view, and then i even lost the ability to press the button entirely. When I restarted Maya things were back to normal.
Is this just one of those things which "seemed like a good idea at the time" but really should be left alone?
Has anyone tried and succeeded using this thing?
/c
EDIT: 6.5 by the way...
