Yo.

I'm thinking of buying CD of texture bitmaps and wonder if anyone could recommend any. I'm after general-purpose stuff - woods, stone, rock, skins etc.

I know there's plenty of free stuff, but most of it is either not high enough resolution or has obvious highlights and shadows. Is the commercial stuff any better? The Marlin stuff, perhaps?

Well I have personally never used those, but from what I have seen, the Dosch collections are very cool. I know a few people who have used them, and they love them :D
