Could you try and find it for me, i had a look but the alias site is very hard to navigate through. It looks good but not practicle, i hate those websites.
Anyway, can you have a look?

He means the FBX plugin for Max
You cant convirt a max file to maya directly from what i know

How do i use it?
Do i open it in 3dsmax (which i have but not installed yet) thean save it as a fbx file and import it into maya or do i do it differently?

Export your max file as .Obj formate and import it in maya.

IMHO FBX is the best way to exchange models between apps.

Download the FBX plugin for both Maya and Max (You'll need a free account). It's alot better to use than the .obj format.
