I just tried one of 3dbuzz´s video tutorials (came on a magazine) and found it to be bloody brilliant. So now i want more.:)
But as i guess most of you know, 3dbuzz havent got all the time in the worl to send out their free cds so im looking for options.

Are there any other good resources, preferrably free, but not necessarily.

Anyone?

Hi E.T,

Well... it's not free, but it's pretty affordable. My walk cycles training CD is a 2.5 hour video tutorial on creating a walk cycle and then modifying it to create 4 more different walk cycles. More information can be found here:

CGchannel used to have a section for video tutorials (waaaaaaaaay back when) I thought that was a great idea but they got rid of it.
wouldn't it be nice to have a single location for all sorts of video tuts? Oh well....

Hey Paul I ordered mine last night :) thanks for putting these out ofr Max users.... I hope its as good as I heard the lightwave ones are.

Hey E.T, the rigging process isn't included. In this CD I concentrate on character animation. But it does comes with the character all rigged and ready to go so you can get into playing around right away.

Sir Eel! Thanks again for your order! You are welcome and I hope you really enjoy it.

you know about the 3dbuzz ones that you can download right?

they have Max 1 and 2, photoshop, Maya, and Lightwave is coming soon. These are full length tutorials.

good stuff.

Hi Roguenroll!

Yes, Buzz's stuff is great!! Just to highlite the difference between our video training tutorials... Buzz's stuff is directed at how to use the tool, my tutorials are directed at how to animate characters. I'm considering a rigging tutorial for Lightwave which would go counter to this strategy, but that's the current state of the union.

Cheers,
Paul

absolutely, there is a big difference. your CDs look very good. The Buzz ones are only UI, tool useage, and just getting around the program, but its nice to get the lay of the land. When you plan to
move on to apply techniques, your CD is very interesting, and
worth the investment.

I would consider when I get to the rigging stage.

Thx,
Rogue
