View Full Version : SSS and Textures (MR)

Hi,

I finally understood how to use SSS with mental ray. Anyway, i have a texture that i need to aply to the SSS and then on to the object. This texture has bump map and displacment map. Im not sure on how to make all this work.

Where do i put the texture shader? Is the place where i have the arrow where i put the texture shader?

believe it or not its in the maya docs but for now... Yes your maps go into the difuse color and the connection editor has a lot more options than what you have in the shader view.
