hey everyone,
i was trying to acheive a microscopic or bacteria kind of shader.
i had a few reference images. workin in max with brazil r/s.
using the wax shader i was able to acheive something but i am not quite satisfied.

since the reference images looks like a dual layered thing.

as if there's a thin layer of gel on it and then comes the comparatively harder surface.
please if the guru's would help me out, it would be great. am sure many are trying to find out more about such a shader.
