hi....i'm a newbe in 3ds max. i have make a simple human character. after i finished then i collapse it and build a biped. after that i fit the biped into the model. then a set it into modifier skin. the problem is when i move or rotate the bone i found a stucked vertex. would you mind to help me to solve this problem because it happed again when i make another model.

You have to edit the envelopes for the skin/physique modifier......all that info is in the manual.

yeah, make sure the biped fits in exactly in your character, eg, the upper arm bone stops exactly where your upper arm ends, things like that.

then, with physique, you have to work with the envelopes. if a vertex stay behind when you move, then that vertex isnt covered by the specific envelope. just make the radius of the envelope bigger, or you could select the vertex and include it with the envelope.

Cool, thnx for the heads up! I'm making a MOD on Unreal 2003, but the 2004 stuff really helped me out a lot. Thnx man!
