Back story:
Like all good things the Earth must come to an end, scientists determined that the Red Planet was the best hope for humanity. Sent with a mission as dire as that of Noah, 3000 colonists, animals of every species, and rations are sent to Mars to transform the barren planet into a habitable alternative to Earth. Huge bio-domes are erected and the animals are escorted off of the ships onto their new home world.
