Heres a pic I created with some hypervoxels and no particles. :)

Same apple but with a hypervoxel logo. :)
Ive done a couple of tests with animating a blob of water across a surface which changes into a logo...again completely without particles. :)
I moved the movie files to another server BTW

Dammit! I want to learn hypervoxels too! They are very mysterious to me...

I'm very impressed with the droplets! I have to agree with the others, a tutorial would be great!!! Did you use a photo for the texture on the apple?

Larry is always open to sharing his techniques....I will give him a call when I return from Mexico and see if we can put something together....Im always amazed at th egreat tips he comes up with.....if you havent seen his training CDs then you are really missing out!

Hey Proton, if Larry wants a little direction what we want my vote would be for something like his splat2.mov. I've been wanting to try something like that just been to busy to sit down and figure it out.

Something along the lines of point clouds from whatever geometry, then BGconform, merge numeric and then hypervoxel gradients.
no, the depth of the droplets would be pfush, and those connection droplets are pretty fine...

One of the great things about the technique is it renders each frame in under 4 seconds. :)

Hey Guys..always experiment. That gives you the ability to learna nd even think of new ways to do effects. Think of an effect and then break it down in parts.
Larry's fx are brilliant examples of this.
The hypervoxel apple and liqud slide are all examples of imagemaps in the particle size T button.
The splat are imagemaps with multiple layers (to control transparency) in of images per object's . Using Null Ref Object and animating scale in the procedure channels.... you can do it too. Don't wat for tutorials..Get inspired and Do!
