Hi

I create one surface emitter and chose "cloud". Great I have cloud particles. They all renders with a surface called particleCloud1.

Now I create a second surface emitter and like before chose cloud. It uses the same particleCloud1 surface.

How do I make it use a different surface, so I can give the two different colors?

If I create a particle cloud in the hypershade window called particleCloud2. How can I use that as the surface for the second surface emitter?

There is several ways to do this.

In the viewport

right click on the object->materials->assign new material->particle cloud

In Hypershade

create a new particlecloud node->select your particle cloud(s)->right click on the particlecloud node->assign material to selection
