hi there im coming to the end of modelling my car and im having trouble replicating a few things, first off how on earth did this person create lights to shine like that??

and also im trying to create this car paint style but to no avail if any1 can help i would be extremly greatful,

I think the lights, is just a surface with a diffuse material, with a reflection map and an RGB output utility/map - it should produce something like that,

For the silver paint, use a falloff -> fresnel in reflection, and also a fresnel in diffuse, with a slight grey to light grey gradient ramp on it. , also try some fine noise, 0.05 in the specular colour box. with the colours for noise being light greys.

That should give you the effect for that.

If not exactly, tweak some settings :)
