Do you have advanced render?
If you use the sun tag, you cant change the values of light (unless you disable to the sun tag, but makes the sun useless)

i managed to enable radiosity but still i cant change any light.
do u know y?
Like said, tick the settings in sun to match your needs, then disable it. That leaves the light where it was set but you can change the light settings.

i cant change it at all, visible or not, it doesnt chage, it goes back at the same moment to the default value.

I have to say this, ... have you thought about reading the manual? It helps. Or are you using the demo?

i did read lots of tutorials, im using v 9 in a freind ARC office.

I don't like working with the sun-
Use a target light instead, set to Distant light.

seems like the model made of water color, y?
i import .3ds from sketchup and im playing with the light shader.
could it be the poligons?
thanks.

I guess setting stochastic samples to 10 won't get you very far. Try 300.

set your stochastic samples to at least 300 (probably more like 1000), set your min samples to anywhere between 10 and 50, raise your accuracy a little bit (not a lot).

this neon light shader isnt working properly, is there any other way to create a fluorescent tube besides of luminance?
thanks

ah, you're running a neon light shader? then yes you would need very high settings to get it tow work with radiosity if it's as close up to surfaces and as bright as is shown in your scene. simpler if you have 9.5 to just use an area light, then stick your object/spline in it. another way is to use a vertexmap and the vertexmap shader (just paint the vertexmap, you will need the area to be subdivded for this to work). and another way is to use a full texture in the luminance channel. a further way is to use lights clones along a spline, then there's the tube shaped area light itself....
