right now the characters look like action figures that are set in the location.
In the bus, when the guy is looking away, he shouldn't be stiff like that...he should have some motion..maybe a moving hold?
When the guy is at the comp, you should have him typing, or else cut the camera at a much shorter time if you don't want to show him typing...either way, you should have a moving hold applied to the characters...
when the girl opens the door...everything looks dead...

Hey, i watched your video. I can see a strong eye for layout already. but it looks somewhat like your are trying to hide your animation. i don't know if you've seen the ads for it on this site or not but Principles of Motion has some great dvds for animators they're chalk full of reference. they have all different type of people and actions. it's definately worth looking into. i'm a new animator too and these things are a Godsent they have the different views of each motion so it's nice and layed out for you to see clearly. yeah i liked them alot. my animation improved SO much really quickly and i became much faster as well. check it out www.pom.tv (http://www.pom.tv) toodles! ++Tamara Foxx++

i think is a good story, is more like and storboard than an anctually animation, is like char are on set before the process of animation starts, try to elarn some basic walk cycles, what is really easy to find on the net, and some moving hold and basics actions, anything that gives the char more life, like as the guy ebfore my said on the train i think that a little motion whould make a world of diference.
but i like the film making skills, for ur first one is really good with story and the voice.
good work man, jsut a question all models u didi it? and what software are u using?

jamagica: As for the guy at the comp, I am trying to show the passage of time while he is comtemplating on what to do at the comp. maybe I'll add a clock or some movement at the background to make it less static.
Foxxy lady: Thanks for your reference.
sKullzao: I did all the models using Lightwave 7.5. Currently testing out a new rig for walk cycles obtained from the net.
