Hi, this is the first thing i'm posting so i might as well introduce myself aswell....i'm certainly not that great at photoshop and i dont do anything in 3D, so i'll be spending most of my time in here ;), so dont expect anything spectacular from me :p

anyway, i have to make a magazine for a school project, and so far i have made the cover......i'll probably post some of the other pages of the magazine later....the theme of the magazine is Fitness because its a gym class....so tell me what u think of the cover i made...its not the best quality cause i had to make the file size small, i'll maybe post a better quality one soon.....any comments are welcome, but just remember this isnt anything fancy, just like other magazines :p

Both are great ;)

Though Fuze got alot more proffesionalism ;) but I don't Gentle Fury's magazine cover were really serious ;D

i was actually just playing with the new heal tools in photoshop 7 to remove the fence from titos horse, and decided it would be funny to make a time magazine cover with it.......lol

def not a lot of work went into the layout ;) ;)

Federal Minimum Wage Last Raised by U. S. Congress to $5.15 on Sept. 1, 1997

So if you live in Canada but work in the US .. you'd make a killing ;-)

lol.. no kidding.. a friend of mine went to school in canada with canadian school loans. now he's living here in america paying it off with american money. *grins*

lil problem with your cover, since i too am a student studying communication design, i notice that it has some quality issues. its very obvious that its a poor scan, so i would work on retouching that or getting a better scan job from a better scanner.

Do you think that halftone will showup after it gets memographed by his highschool hand cranked copier?

De-screen the scan in photoshop.

Revisit the text alignment down the right side. See how nothing lines up with each other? Including the title block and text in upper right.

Background seems a little boring. Don't think the blue text on blue background is a very good idea either.
