The reason your giving aint good enough for me you got the talent to do your own stuff...if you can imitate brom and do this well...you can grab a couple of picture of women on the net and paint her the way you imagine it and not Brom ex:the clothing shed be wearing or the pose anything you fantasize you put on paper or on your sceeen in this case so common dont give off lame excuse like and create eveyone knows you got the talent!

Ok. Thanks for reply and for giving me the force to TRY to make something of mine.
The reason I said that is beacuse I always have made drawings (black and white) and now I'd like to learn the use of colour... but I can't imagine anything and PAINT it... (I can draw it, but not paint) I'd like to be able to get the hues of something in my mind and then put them in my painting. If you know what is the way to get there...
Thanks again for your comments.

start with something really simple, like an apple. just play around with color and light. Work small and fast, do a mountain of thumbnails. Start basic and just keep practicing.

Nice work there
Blackarts is right, the best way to learn the use of color is painting without lines, just big strokes of color. And take your references from real life (photos) better than other artist´s work, you´ll learn the real laws of lighting and avoid copyrights problems! ;)
I think the best way to work with colors is getting a wacom, you can experiment with all the colors of the universe, different techniques..., it´s cheaper (no canvas, brushes, markers, pencils, sketchbooks, oils, easel) and you wont get your hands dirty.

Ok thanks for your help. Painting real life should be nice... I usually don't copy another artist nor real life. Because of that my tecnic is so poor. I'll post here my first painting...:) Of course, I already have a wacom...and I love it.
I'm posting now one of my recent works done in photoshop7. Well, the original drawing is made with a pencil and then scanned it. Imported it to photoshop and painted it there. Something quickly.
One question... Which program do you use for digital paintings? I have some trubble to blend colours (make gradients softly as in real life paintings) in photoshop. Painter7 does it ok. I want your opinion...
Sorry for the comments in spanish and thanks.

And here is the original made with sanguine pencil. No references at all.
Visit my 3d thread and say something... If you want.
