View Full Version : character - fashion diva
johanflood 09-15-2005, 06:23 PM been working some evenings and nights with this. Materials are a major focus for me and I had no real reference for the skirt and the outfit. Stared myself blind so critics are very velcome !

I have to say you are of to a good start. The colors are great, and that skirt is freaking awesome for having no reference.
But Her face looks a little squished-the distance between the upper lip and the nose looks a bit small. Her eyes also look just wee bit too tall...you also might want to put more shadow on top of 'her' righ shoulder. it looks a little large and makes it look like she has no neck (IMO)
Also her thighs look kinda skinny in relation to her calvs but maybe thats just me. Other than that nice job. How'd you get those skin tones? I struggle to death with that stuff!

To me what's strangest is that she has no neck. Beautiful women usually have long, slender necks.
