freelance digital sets artist - Los Angeles Full Mental Jacket is a Los Angeles based design and production company focused on creating virtual sets and real-time graphics for entertainment, simulation and training applications. We have done work for national broadcasters, fortune 500 companies and large online portals.
We're looking for 1 or 2 experienced 3dsmax artists who specialize in digital sets/interiors for freelance work.
- work with designer to model, light, texture interiors
- can produce high quality renders in max default or mental ray renderers with/without GI
- proficiency in 2d packages like photoshop, AE and combustion
- understanding of normal maps and shaders a bonus!
- must show strong portfolio in textures and lighting
- someone with architectural design background or interest preferred
- must be fluent in english
this is a freelance position for an artist in the LA area only. you work for home but able to come for meeting when needed.
