Geez, i can't believe no one has replied to this yet.... very nice model, can we have a bigger render of the car?
the only thing that i can see that might need fixing is the lighting coming from the right, it's making some wierd reflections off the end of the red one

im glad i don't have to wish ;)
i think it looks really nice except the garage itself looks really barren. doesn't look lived in, unless it's a public garage, but still...
the viper itself loof great, but you need the viper brake calipers on it though. body color with the gts-r logo is yummy. it doesn't look like it has any calipers at all. the rear tire looks a little thin, but that's prolly me. it's 12" wide in real life.
didnt you make a low poly one?

totally awesome models and lighting! This should be a 5 star definitly.
The glow i made in photoshop, not sure if itīs possible to make glow like that in 3dsmax?
stecki: youre right about the brakes, iīll fix it soon :)
and this is the low poly version, thatīs why i rendered it in 640x480

wow they render very well for low poly. so i have to ask, what is the polycount on them? the wheels are so super smooth. i do realtime car models myself, avg 5000 polys, though my last one hit 7500 will full interior/driver/wheels, er complete. but they didn't look as convincing as this. mucho respecto sir :)
The car without the wheels and rims are 12000 poly.
and the rims in this scene are 1100 polys each. (on the yellow car)
but since itīs made for cult3D i could have used more polys also, but i might do the engine and stuff later so i guess it will go up anyway :)

Hi Grid!
You've made very nice cars indeed. But that has already been pointed out.
What would add more realism to your scene is a more interesting surrounding for your cars. For instance a door would give the viewer a stronger suggestion of the cars' scale. Or a bicycle leaned to a wall, small details that matter. "A 3D-model is not better than the environment it is in." as a famous 17th-century painter once declared. (I keep forgetting who.)
The glow from the windows is a bit exaggerated, lowering it's opacity would give a more convincing result, I think.
Overall, I think the lighting is a bit too soft ... try bringing out more contrast.
Some thoughts from your old colleague ... :)

COOOL very nice.
I would continue adding this little enjoyable details.
But if you like it just perfect.

Looks great!
I'm looking to model a viper or similar sports car, does anyone know where I can find the side and front profile photos or blueprints for cars? Not nessessarily a viper but just any nice car in general. Is there a website devoted to this?
