Hey guys, I've never actually rendered the correct way. Since I always do stills I usually just render current frame and print screen into photoshop.

I have a piece that am pretty proud of. I have to keep things sort of simple because I'm on and old computer but I have my lights and camera positions set up. I'm using DMap shadows and would like to be able to put out some larger images. I don't know how to take my info from render globals and actually make the render. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

EDIT> Forgot to mention I'm using Maya 5. And is there a way I can instance my camera and have Maya render from 3 images from 3 different points of view so I can walk away for a bit?

Well basically the only way I know to render is using the render current frame function and taking a snapshot of the screen and pasting it in photoshop, but I know this is not how it is professionally done.

No not a sequence. Just a render that saves a file to my harddrive at highest quality settings. I'm using Maya 5

In render view select File> Save image.
