Hi there

I´m pretty sure that the great maxscripters here can take a look at this :)
What the script should do is just a straight cut between two vertex and also cutting the edges between those vertex. Doing this with the cut tool sometimes ends in duplicated vertex at the first or the last vertex, and well, fixing that is always time consuming.

Hi Jhotun, there is that exact feature in the PolyBoost (http://www.polyboost.com) tools called DistanceConnect. Connects over distance and geometry between vertices or edges. That tool has also been slightly updated for the 2.0 release wich is due out soon.(free upgrade)

Hi guys!

Thanks a lot for the sugestions. I would love to be less drown into payments so i could buy some extra software. Especially polyboost is something i would love to own.
