View Full Version : 3d Fluid Container?
Ninjump 09-13-2005, 07:54 PM Does anyone know how to make a non-cubic 3d fluid container? In essence take any polygonal object and fill it w/ fluid? I need to sculpt some clouds. The shader I'm using is based on the one from the "Fluids Smoke" tutorial on Cgsociety.
Please help if you can, o great and wise peers!

You could make the shape of the object you want to fill with clouds, flip the normals and set it to be a collision object with the fluid container - I haven't tried it, but I can't see why it wouldn't work - as long as you weren't emitting fluid from outside of this object.
