Hey, (Peperkorrel van scholieren hier)

I like the use of color and lighting, it creates a very surreal, futuristic mood. Composition-wise I'd add a few inches to (one of) the sides, so the image doesn't have that "cropped" feeling.

If I were you I'd go for something with the kind of perspective used in the first image...very dynamic. Good luck! I'll keep an eye on this thread. ;)

Hi Gerrit,

I think out of the two sketches you have, Im definitely feeling the first one most. The color choices and angle are very strong. I agree with most people here, this is a strong sketch and a great start.- J

Thanks people. I'll try to put more perspective in the next concept, and hopefully i'll have a more spectacular story than a space war.

easy OrO :), but thanks for the attention. Here a preview of my next update:

http://home.student.utwente.nl/g.witteveen/cgspec5%20copy.jpg

Offcourse i will replace the vehicles i used in the first picture with some other, hopefully better looking ones. The scene will be something with kids riding their high-tech skateboard, skates, bikes, etc kicking trashcans, scaring people, so still lots of work to do.

ok, this is the new concept i'm working on. It's still work in progress, so c&c during the proces of this image, is most welcome.

The scene is a bit empty, so i will ad some more figures, details to make it more attractive.

made a few changes. Added another skater, more dramatic lightning and some details. But i'm not sure if this is an improvement. And i still don't no what to do with the middle of the scene. Made a quick metro-entrance sketch, but maybe someone has another idea for this part of the scene?

i'm busy lately, but i found some spare time to work on a new concept. Well here it is, a kind of futuristic theme park (does someone know the english word for the thing in the middle of the scene, because i really dont know). This time a used i 3d-modeller for the first time to set up the perspective, and used a new color scheme. Comments and critics always welcome.

A "robot" mother and her child "born" to serve mankind. This is their last moment together. The little child has no idea what happening. Covered in a blanket, sheltered by his mom. Not for long. The new owner is already waiting. What kind of life is waiting for her child? What will he be like? What will his name be? Will they ever seen eachother again? Some many questions, so less time. Time to say: Goodbye, my child.

I gave the image a sketchery(?) look to give the robots and the evironment a kind of rusty, industrial look. Colored it with warm orange and cold blue to give the image a nice contrast. It also stands for warm nursing and being together and the cold split up between the mother and her child.

Thanks everyone for supporting me. Goodluck
