Hello again, because I realy need the answer,

How can I copy the keyframes of an object what is animated along a path to another object ?
I have to exchange the object.
So the animation is also exchanged.

I unfortunately find no answer.

If you had referenced the object to be animated you could make that change easily. Otherwise, I'm not sure how you're setup but you could try importing your object into the new scene and manually copying curve by curve, or export the animation as a clip. I'm not sure how that works with path animation though.

well this is just a guess, since i can not verify it; i have no maya at home. but try the following:

- make shapes visible in the outliner. (ONLY the shape.. not thetransformation node)
- delete the shape that is on the path now (same as above)
- throw in the shape that you want to have ther
- see if it works - i dont know. but if that will be the fastest way

cheers

That's why I always make a group of the object before animate it. If I need to replace it, simply parent the new to the animated null and delete the old. (I think that it wouldn't work with deformed objects like lattice, clusters or linear deformers.)
Other easy way (only to be use on emergency) is to parent the new to the animated and set the "primary visibility" att OFF. (and the other stuff like "cast shadow", etc).

Good Luck!
