View Full Version : Checking Images for NTSC Video
tvining 09-13-2005, 04:25 PM I have a 3D animation project that I will be editing in Final Cut and laying to DVD/NTSC, but want to make sure the colors/images look good on an NTSC television screen. I'm assuming the best way for this would be to have a video card outputting to an NTSC monitor (which I don't presently have), but I was wondering a) if there is another effective method not requiring a new card, or b) if a card outputting to NTSC is the way to go, if people could recommend a brand/model. (I'm using a Mac/G4/OSX)
Thanks--T

not too familiar with final cut but if it's like most editing software you should be able to add a broadcast color filter to it.This will optimize your color output for standard NTSC screens. hope that helps...
