Hi, i liked your sketch. But I can't feel one locomotive in side of the train. Maybe you can show us what you have in mind. Why another locomotive if you have exelent elements on the scene?

I liked the contrast of the man that is so calm against the train that is very nervous. It feels like...hey, let me read my book.
By the way, the model is great. Good luck.

Thank you guys for support!

Banzato: Hey buddy, I was thinking about waht you said, so, firstly I wanted to compuns the scene with a train and after a locomotive and on the modelling process i´ve decided to put just the locomotive, I think it gives a "weight" to the scene. thanx!

yunisirees: thank you man!

Beelow: hi man! thanx for reply! see ya on the threads!

mmoir: well buddy, I´ve decided to change many things from the sketch and onde of them is to take off the jaws and keep just the eyes burning that I´l model on he second part of the locomotive. Thank you

good model so far justavo ... i like the train .. hmm but don't u think it needs some more fantasy structures on the front ? ( it's just my poor opinion ) ... good luck mate :applause:

gu
09-21-2005, 01:19 PM
thank you all for continuous support!

Yunisirees: hahaha 666 on the train. Yeah, the tentacle will be organic, just a fusio of organic in the steel of the train! cya

madshooter: I´m glad you like it, thank you for support:) Best luck!

jmturbo: hey buddy, thank you. So, the model is too different from the initial sketch, I think that a locomotive gives more detail and weight to the scene than a simple furious train. Best luck!:buttrock:

Rotab: Nice to see you again buddy! Yeah, I agree with you, more fantasy elmnts on the front will be cool, let me put some pink floyd to listen and think about that, hahaha, thank you!

yunisirees: hey yuni! Yes, a good suggestion to show the front of the train, but on that camera view, the train looks a bit small comparing to the door, I think, if I put the train a bit back it will be smaller..so I´ll test it.cya

mmoir: hum, I´m having some problems with camera and train position as I said to yunisirees, I think that if I put the train further away from the door we can see the whole train, but for the other side I loose the "power" of the scene that is the train "about to crash" concept, but I will make some tests and post here. thank you!

This is shaping up VERY nicely! The camera angle is close to perfect in that last shot, and the surreal nature of the set as well as the composition is effectively underlined by the empty areas to the left and right.... If I were you, I'd try to keep those bits low on detail even for the final shot, because it makes everything very well focused on the main subjects.

Great job so far.

Legal, cara!

The textures look great so far.

I agree with whoever it was asking about the location of Mr Death here - I really think you should move him to the train like in your sketch, because it looked really good and made a better composition as well, IMHO.

Hey yuni: well, millions of polys will be texturized. I like your work process, where you model, texture and show here...I have to do that! but, on the next challenge, hahaha see ya yuni!

Mr. JamesMK: Hi buddy! SO I think I´ll return the death for the initial place, on the top of the train, will look better, because at the current place Mr Death is hiding some element in the background and move to the train he´ll be at the same line of the door that is where the scene happens. Thank you for sugestion and critiques! see you on the road:buttrock:

Hi! I like your work! But it seems that this wooden floor don't suit here. I think it would be great if you face the floor with big old relief tiles and so that the grass shoot through joints! But it's only my opinion and my suggestion! :)

Looking very good so far, love the coloring of those doors, especially the one with
colored glass, serves the concept very well.
Furthermore, I see you have move your character down below, which makes him (it)
less prominent than the original sketch, which I guess had a better comp value, but
I guess I have to wait to see the final piece, I could be wrong!!!

Hey Gus... your work is going great.

I like very much your "Death" :) , however, let me ask you a question: because unless there's is a strong meaning for that, don't you think that the way Death looks it's more then old, more then used and abused over and over again in movies, in print, in BD, in whatever the support we work on Death appearances?... she always looks like this.

I'm not saying that it's wrong, but couldn't Death have a re-styling in some way?

But hey, your work is going very well my friend.

Um abraço
