View Full Version : Can this be Scripted?
Maven 09-13-2005, 02:31 PM If I had a text file the listed a time, position, and location of a object that looked a little like this:
Time: 0.0
P[0000]=092.150,010.8000 (005.49°)in LOWER-LEVEL
P[0001]=180.700,011.0000 (010.15°)in LOWER-LEVEL
P[0002]=187.350,010.9000 (141.28°)in LOWER-LEVEL
P[0003]=085.500,010.8000 (084.41°)in LOWER-LEVEL
How could I bring this information into Max, could this be scripted?
Thanks.

I don't think I am capable of writeing scripts. Would anybody be able to write this for me? or at least get me started?
Basically I have a file that lists objects (p[0000]) and gives a x,y, and degress rotated at a given times, which is every .1 seconds.
I want to be able to import this file information and assign a mesh for each p[0000] listed in the file.
Can anyone help? I would have to email the text file.

It can be scripted. Do you need a freelancer or is this for a personal project?
