Hi!

I build these two sheets last night, please let me know if you find any areas they should be improved.

It's a storyboard sheet and a shotplanning sheet. The shot planning sheets contains a animation process section wich is based from how I aproach animation. My guess would be that people might wanna adjust that area them selfes to get it to fit their workflow.

I suppose every one is familiar with a storyboard sheet and the purpose of using it, though the shot planing sheet might be a new idea to some. The basic idea sis to use this sheet to keep track of where in production you are on that specific shot and what resources you need for that shot. It's my experience that it saves alot of time to use these kind of sheets to realy save time and sanity on a production.

You edit the storyboard and shot planning sheet inside the PDF, add your comments and images, the save it as a new PDF or even better for file size you print it to a new PDF if you got the tools for it.

Sample (http://medlem.spray.se/animatroll/temp/Binder1.pdf) (This sample is just a demonstration of how you can link to different pages and give the storyboard a nicer touch, try frame nr.3, I've also killed all history to prevent that any changes are done in the document once I'm done with it)

Enjoy!

Really nice and easy set-up. The only thing I miss in the storyboard sheet is a box for the camera number.

Thanks a bunch

Great to hear you liked it. I usualy setup my camera info in the shotplanning sheet since that's where I look when I'm actually working on a shot. I only use the storyboard to get a feel of the story. In the shot planning sheet there's a image field called "Shot Plan / Camera Movement" where I usualy maked a descriptive image of how the camer is staged and if used multiple cameras how they're used. There's also a "Notes:" field where you can add such info, though if you still prefer a "Camera number" box in the storyboard sheet I can add that.

THat would be great so that I can use the stroyboards to block out coverage in the script too. Much easier when working with the actors. I'm not using it for animation only you see. I can hardly remember when I did a single camera set up sceen. I manly use 3 difernt angles for every scen for better coverage and feedom in the editing-room.

Thanks again
