hello,

I looked around for reviews but couldn't come up with any.

I was wondering if anyone found this dvd (nurbs modeling 1) to be useful.

I really enjoyed the gnomon human head tut with kevin hudson, and the freedom of teach dvd with tariq. I'm pleased with the results I got and the knowledge I gained.

However, I'm not familar with nurbs, so I was wondering if this dvd would be a good place to start.

Any advice would be helpful

NURBSmodeling 1 covers basics of nurbs and introduces you to lofting and extruding techniques in building a house. It tells you the diferent surface tools within the maya toolset. Birail is told well in NURBS 3 whrere they model a car using loft and birail as the primary arsenal. It is ok if u are a newbie. other wise better if you have a good look at the maya docs ro small information and tips along with how to use the tool
