Hi!

Does anybody know any plugin that allows you to create stroke/outline based on alpha channel? Similar to Photoshop's Stroke layer effect.

I have rendered a sequence of TGA's and I want apply black outline to its alpha channel. So far I used Autotrace to convert alpha to masks but it's slow and lot's of errors occurs.

Any suggestions? I'm using AE 6.0 Standard, btw.

You can get some results with the matte choker. Give it a go, try negative values.

Image Lounge Border Patrol or Boris Cartooner. Both are commercial, though.

Ian Jones: A good idea, but Standard version of AE doesn't have Matte Choker :( ....

Mylenium: Actually Cartooner did the trick well and it's a freeware too...
