Hey, so I've been working on this little animation forever. Because it's hard to find the time. Here's a screen capture. It isn't looking as nice as I would prefer. I'd really appreciate any comments or critique on how I can add some visual continuity for the image. It's 3 drawings layered together, and I think it reads a bit awkwardly. I also really need help with shading, and extra details (suchas the BG). Also, would colors help at all?...

Wow, nice. It looks really good, especially all the different background characters. Umm, I en't an expert, but with the visual continuity, it might be looking a bit odd because some of the background characters are drawn with thicker lines than the foreground character. Usually it's the line thickness that suggests that an object is closer/farther from the camera, and it's a bit confusing because the chara which is nearest is done with thinner lines.

Unn, hope it helps -- good luck with the animation too, it looks cool!

I tried to play around with some of the things you mentioned Moon, I think this is an improvement. I added shadows too, I think it ties things together a bit.

I'm trying to play around with the alpha channels a bit more as well.

Comments please.
