i have some ideas:
-A truck jumping a bridge or ramp
-An aircraft crashing into the sea
-A spacecraft entering an alien atmosphere...

I´m working my brain...:rolleyes:

The ship Aurora entering Cronos atmosphere violently. The ship is surronded of fire and smoke by the friction resulting from its rapid motion. In Cronos atmosphere are powerful cyclones and hurricanes... the interior is volcanic with lava flow plates and active dunes...

Massive twisters, lightnings and thunders... but i feel that it lack something, perhaps a bow of a boat in front

Acerca de tu idea...bueno me gusta, y me gustas los modelos...son que(poly, patch, nurbs)?

Pregunta adicional...Vos conces a juan carlos?....es un personaje que tambien trabaja en un lugar llamado pixel estudio, y dirige clases basicas de 3d en naska medellin.

I finished the Gaia's base model (fixed the body, eyes and hair)... i am trying to get down the pose and expression...

What do you think about these??

Testing the cloud body for Gaia...

I used particles system with the body and hair... shader with the base model and other model for cloud volume...

Cool stuff!
But it reminds me more of cotton than clouds... How do it look like if you
have more cloud particles and smaller clouds and higher transparency?
The fluffy look on the clouds makes it look like cotton.

i think it's a very tough thing to try and do in 3d.what if you have small tufts or wisps of cloud around her to break the surface and make it less sharp looking?

I improved the cloud body and i added clouds surrounding her... more transparency, less noise on particles material

...shadows, colors and tones adjusted. still need some fixes, but it's taking form

Well, i made some changes to the concept: in the foreground, there will be a ship trying to escape the storm's power. The ship is a type of antique galleon or galley with a decorated wooden hull

This part is a carved figure in the prow... the figure is a mixture of angel and mermaid

The mermaid figure is finished and ready to decorate the ship's bow
I added some details and i made a few modifications to fit her to the bow. Material is provisional

The mermaid-angel figure was attached to the ship's bow
I'm still modelling missing parts of the ship: main mast, sail (with cloth simulation), ropes... but it needs more details

Hey Fabio,

That is a great looking ship, is it going to have any port holes or railing at the back. Just an idea to add a bit more detail. Great model of the mermaid as well.
