i thought of this about a year ago when i was like "hey i wonder what it would sound like if you dropped like 200 grand pianos out of a plane in like a straight line down a street?" i can imagine that there would be strings snapping everywhere and the sound of the wood breaking , i think the strings are probably under some ammount of pressure so they would whip around a bit, im still playing around with names and time periods, im thinking world war 2 with like cargo plane, the picture will be focusing on the piano directly infront of the camera which will be frozen mid crash, im thinking of like a ripple of broken wood progressing through the piano. the building to the left is being hit by a piano that is ripping part of it away i was thinking of it sortof like its peeling the briks of the buildings and desintegrating as it progresses further... thats all for now

drew roughly the central piano, i want to emphisize the rippling impact, i think im going to have the wood breaking in waves if i can manage it...

Hey Nigel,

This is a unique idea, I would have never thought of this one thats for sure. It will be interesting to see this one when it is done. I don't know if you have to see the plane for this image to work though.
Good luck .

Thx mmoir, i dont think the plane will be in the final after all i want the planes to be at several thousand feet so that the pianos really do make a mess of things, im thinking on meteor crator type marks on the pavement and in buildings to show where previous ones have landed and i really want it to rip some stuff up as it comes towards you :)

haha nomad, sounds like you've got a bit of the same destructive side that i have :)
