Hi Folks,
I think I ve got my idea for this challenge - its not really nailed down but its far enough in my head to start some initial designs - The image is gonna illustrate a guy who is about to score in a very strange and dangerous sport combining urban climbing and lets say basketball.

Hi everybody -
many thanks for your time to take a look around here.
Sorry I haven t posted any replies so far -- I m a busy and disorganised type of guy...if that s an excuse.
It seems from the replies that the fellow in pink gets all the attention - so I guess I ll just have to reboost the design of the dandy guy since he is supposed to be the first role actor here.
Voila Voila what else to say...hum - ah yeah been busy starting the modeling of the dandy - looks from where I am that I would have to rebuild the mesh entirely to make the other character since his proportions are really different. Anyway Modeling is one of my favourite part so its okay - I tend to think that if you deform the same human mesh to create another character it will always show a bit of a ressemblance in a weird kinda way - don t you think so?
Or is it me talking s*&ç%! again?

first thing first, forgot to mention the link of the past challenge -- Master and Servant

M&S (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=231942&page=1&pp=15)

there you go gentlemen -- and all you fine ladies who choose to ruin your charms and your youth staying in front of tha bllody computer all day long. Okay, back to challenge, been busy modelling the head and body of the dandy guy - its WIP but it doesn t really look like somethin you would want to see right now so - still tons of weak parts mainly in the arms, shoulder area. I m doing it in Zbrush this time, starting with a very low mesh imported from Maya - common procedure I guess.
Wish you all a very pleasant W-end, don t forget church on sunday otherwise >straight to hell.

adel3d, our man from Iran, its an honor to have you around, I noticed you are participating in both categories 2D and 3D this time -so Ill wish you the best on both...loved your M&S entry really great stuff, very curious to see your 2D entry this time - what software do you use?
is there work for 3d artists and CG artists in Iran? I mean enough to make a decent living?
If those questions bore you, just don t answer okay?

Cheers

Okido - here s a first step in modeling the doom guy - still tons of tiny details to do - specially in Zbrush. Got to model a nice dress/tutu for tha fellow and add a few accessoires. The other players from his team will have different helmets - this one has horns - for the others I got a lot of even more stupid ideas. Really got to get busy on those folds on the neck...looks a bit ugly right now.
