Im getting a late start here but my concept was to show the Phoenix rising after being slain as a great being of fire bringing with it destruction in its rebirth.

Working on the base phoenix for inclusion to the scene. Since most of the phoenix will be fire effects this base will not have enough details to represent geometry as fire.
