hey guys!
did everybody have a nice weekend...?
i see, i'm not the only one to do the "pencil concept" he he :-)
i think i will go for the frankenstein version...
starting out by modelling a semi-realistic version and then do deformations afterward...
here is a foto of me...

I think you need to identify your features that need exaggerating a little better. At the moment, it appears that you've exaggerated your ears, nose and the shape of your head, but I don't think you've got them quite right yet. I don't think your ears are overly huge so I wouldn't exaggerate them as much for example. Keep working at it though!

Looks good, like the bangs.
I think you'd hit your likeness better by widening the forehead, extreme-like, think of a wave-battered cliff.
Hehe.:scream:
And your mouth doesn't have your expression yet, but it looks like you haven't really tweaked them yet anyway.
Looking forward to more!

Ok, here's what I can see from your photo... your nose is quite broad and round, possibly flat too but I can't really tell from that shot. Like dobermonk said, exaggerating the forehead and spikey hair (love the quiff of hair at the front too!) will make it more recognisable as you. Also, your mouth is quite close to your nose in your photo but quite low in your model. The model does have alot of character about it though, so be careful not to lose that!! :applause:

Here's another update, for all you guys out there...
-added legs, shoes and a little pencil in the mouth...
my first idea/concept has gone out the drain... so i'll think i just do the drawing concept... me with a pencil.
Hi there!
I got some comments for you:
I think you should fatten the knees up, cause they're a bit squized right now.
And you must get rid of that square look. (at the elbows and pelvis)
I hope I helped ya ;)
Well at least your characature is finished....
Mine is still in progress and needs to be rigged.
And I don't gonna make it on time....ARGH :D

...hey guys! -need your opinion on this one:-is the pencil on "my" shoulder too much? -should i remove it? -or is it just plain old wacky humor...?
