This painting was like a test for me. To find solution to make water, light, transparency effects. Soft rock. How to make fish without drawing thousands of them.
It was really hard to keep the same level of details and find the good light and colors.
I hope that it will please you.
The girl was just made with a picture of her face.

Really beautiful palette!
You've done great job with coloring.

But I don't like woman's face. It seems too old for me.
It's just my opinion...

Anyway, very well done!

BlackBastet< Yes she is not so young.. But I wanted to make an icone, a classical character without really determined age.

I must admit the face is one of the best things ;) it really shows character and her eyes and smile really catched me

I also like the statue on the left side alot- especially the texture on it.

Cant really find something to critique - just maybe that the lower backround could have been a bit darker but I think thats more of a personal taste
