Hello everyone. My first post so if anyone can help it would be very appricated. Im an ex SOFT guy and have came over to MAYA. Just trying to figure some things out.
thanks in advance to anyone that can help! =)
PROBLEM - texturing nurbs with projection maps.
Problem is when i move the object the textures dont stay with them because they are projection. I need to "bake" them on to make them normal. When i bake them on ( convert file to texture ) with only one projection map its no problem. But i have multiple projections for one map. So my QUESTION is " how do i bake on projection maps to nurbs when you have multiple maps? ( like color, transparency, bump )
here's a pic - if you see me doing something wrong please tell me
(jedi in training)
STEP 1 - PICK YOUR TEXTURE, then PICK YOUR OBJ
STEP 2 - HYPERGRAPH - EDIT - CONVERT FILE TO TEXTURE
STEP 3 - OPTIONS
RESULT FOR ME - a new normal texture that is black. I have tried to bake on each projection map seperatly then link them back together manually. didnt work either.......soooooooo
or if you need any additional info please tell me.
thanks everyone = )
