This is a pic I made a couple of monthes ago, it was my very first "real" image and it still has a special meaning for me, it's called Loreena (for Loreena McKennit, it was inspired by one of her songs) :) Thanks for viewing, and of course, any comment is appreciated :) Ab

It's pretty good, but has some problems. The brick texture jumps out as being compurtery. Maybe not the brick texture itself, but the bump. Also the lighting is pretty boring. You should have the main source comming from the fire and the rest in shadow. Good job for a first "serisous" pic.

Nice image and atmosphere.
Curious the refer to Loreena McKennith ( greensleves... ;) etc ). Keep on working with illumination as E.Z. Schwartz said. :cool:

The picture somehow reminds me of Defender Of The Crown :-)
The Problem with the lighting that I see is that there are two sources, the fireplace and the sun shining through the window with this volumetric lighting. Somehow it fits not together, either the light from the sun should be stronger or it should be evening and the window should be dark
