I'm trying to get some ideas flowing for my first challenge. I'll do a few more sketches when I have more time. I eventually want something more dynamic, but for now something like this will do.

I decided to extend the original concept. Really rough sketches right now. I'll try to be more active in this challenge after this coming Thursday (My portfolio review will be done and I won't have to worry about it anymore). I'm finally going to finish school!

I think u dont need the lower part of the image and u can crop it.. while there is no action down there and only ruins the overall composition. Otherwise a great start. good luck!

lovely concept sketches, and the change of format was really inspired, amazing how more rocks and sky makes a difference to the spectacular nature of something. Also a nice contrast to the geometric lines of the spaceship. I shall certainly keep an eye on this thread, it has the start of something special.
