My first concept drawing for this challenge, the basic idea for my entry is a war set maybe 20/30 years in the future. Hard to tell from my terrible drawing but the idea is in foreground is a small ruined park with a little boy saved by a machine of war. Yes it will be a mech (what can I say... otaku) but I would like get away from the anime style and have some very industrial, dirty and war-torn.

The little boy is the main point of it though, hopefully I can have his face showing the terror and fear. He will have a small bear aswell for added emotion.

Background will just be the war-torn remains on a major city. I would like to avoid putting anything else tech in the picture to avoid taking away from the emotion of the picture.

In the terrible drawing the mech is still a stick figure (as is the boy) so designing it at the moment.

Forgot to add introduction (well I did but it got lost somewhere). This would be my first CG Talk challenge ever, constantly I'm in absolute awe at the talent on here, it is something that keeps bringing me back to 3D when I get discouraged. I can't compete at all but if I can finish this I'll be stoked.

Now..... to go attempt to fit a new wacom on my card.....
