Hi,

This is my first try to attach a mattepainting in a piece of video.

http://www.jaimebures.com/WIP/Mattepainting/Barco-Original.mov // <- The original shot.
http://www.jaimebures.com/WIP/Mattepainting/Barco-Matte-Final.mov // <- The final shot.

http://www.jaimebures.com/WIP/Mattepainting/Barco-Matte.mov // <- Another shot more fantastic (but with too much things to fix: like the fog in the horizon line).

Please tell me what you like and dislike from those shots.
I wellcome all critiques.

Looks nice to me--I can't tell that it's composited. Then again, I'm not a professional compositor, so I don't know what to look for. . .

Anyways, nice job.

But... you absolutely need to either track your matte layer or stabalize the footage. The slight shaking of the camera makes the composite apparent. Otherwise, nice job.

Thanks for your replies, the matte was tracked to match the camera jitter, perhaps must be less movement in the background that in the foreground to better simulate the paralax. I don´t know.

Thank you.
