Quote:
"Eight years later Park made his feature-film debut with “Chicken Run” (2000), co-directed with Aardman founder Peter Lord, featuring Mel Gibson as the voice of a rooster. It was a resounding success. At the back of Parks’ mind all the way through filming though, was an idea to bring his beloved ‘Wallace and Gromit’ to the multiplex. "

Saw a screening of "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" yesterday and it was fantastic! All of the charm of the W&G shorts is there. The sets are gorgeous, beautiful cinematography, the story is clever, the voice characterizations by Ralph Feinnes (Lord Victor Quartermaine -- the bad guy) & Helena Bonham Carter (Lady Tottington -- the love interest) are perfectly played. And, of course, Wallace & Gromit themselves are as well played and animated as ever.

Huge movie! I can only hope we see some high quality W&G toys to come out of it.
