Im working with a poly object and would like to fillet (hope Im using the term correctly) between two polygons. In FormZ I could create this curved bevel via any number of steps I liked.

Is there an equivilant to this in Max? I know of the chamfer but it just does a straight bevel.

Thanks

Unfortunatly, making automatic round fillets is not available option (though it would make life so much easier!)

If your object has a simple shape then you can use the 'bevel profile' modifier.

If the objects is more complex then you can use subdivisions. Use this method to easily model complex mechanical objects with nice fillets:

Try playing around with mesh smooth set to classic and changing the strength and iterations ... you may be able to get close to what you want. :)
