Hi, nice mood you got there. If I may make a suggestion I'd go for a more wide and 'open' canvas, to emphasize the fact that it's in a large desert. This looks to much like a closed space I think. Add some space to both size (and place the ship off-centre) to make the scene more massive and spectacular.
It's going to be hard to stand out between the large amount of crashed/stranded (space)ships scenes, but good luck!

I like the idea, I agree with the landscape format suggestion, I'd also suggest making the nomad/camel grouping smaller within the overall picture to help implying the large size of the ship. Also, maybe if the camel was standing more 7/8ths to the picture plane. Good start and good luck.

Hey,
Good idea, very poetical.
I think it would be more spectacular if the character and his camel were much smaller. The fact that they would be very small on the foreground, while the boat would still be huge at the background, would give an impressive scale to the boat.

thank you both for the suggestion :) i'll soon make another sketch to see how it will look.

hello ori, it's good at ur final sketch, but people can't see the nomad n camel, maybe u have to larger a bit. :) can''t wait to see the coloring wip. rock on dude.

That's much better ; now I suggest you 2 things. These small characters could be placed on another dune than the ship, a dune closer to us. The effect will be to add distance between characters and the ship, that will look even bigger, and to fill a bit the empty space at the bottom of the pict.
Second thing : remove these clouds : they are so defined that they interfere with the boat.
It is very important to keep a hierarchy in a picture : the most important is the most defined.
Good luck !

i didn't have a lot of time this month, but i really wanna finish this so from now on it will be a non stop working :)
ok just another(and final!) sketch, i really glad with this one.. the characters are just for illustration and i think that in the final piece i will make only one, a little change in the story behind the pic, i'll tell it later.
